The wanco, wanku or huanco, is the traditional Mapuche floor. They have been used daily for generations in the ruca for all domestic activities. They are so comfortable and provide so much warmth to spaces, that today their use is expanded to our modern rucas.
These wonders of the trade are hand-carved from a single noble piece of native wood, and a finish is applied with natural impregnants or vegetable oils that provide a final protective layer. The variability between one piece and another is high both in size and materiality, because the woods that had a good harvest in the season are used and their colors and grains are products of decades exposed to the vicissitudes of the southern forests, their different soil qualities, climates, ecosystems, drying processes, and an endless number of variables, which is exactly what we love and makes no piece the same as the other.
To guide you a little, we have created 2 design variants, 2 invoice variants and 2 color variants, all in a single reference size that is around 30 cm in height and 45 cm x 25 cm in surface.
Design variants:
Rectangular design , for lovers of straight lines who are not so much.
Rounded design , imperfectly curved, like life.
Appearance variants:
Simple ; of trees that led a calm life, that gave woods with fine grain, surfaces with a tendency towards homogeneity and structure without major surprises.
Complexes ; of trees with long-suffering stories, examples of resilience and adaptation, smooth surfaces but with character, with luxuries of wood as the masters call it, knots, small cracks and veins with personality.
Color variants:
Copper range ; They include specimens in Raulí (Nothofagus alpina), Oak, Pellín or Huaye (Nothofagus obliqua), Lingue (Persea lingue) and Chestnut (Castanea sativa). They have red, reddish and pink tints, dark tones, dull shine.
Golden range ; It includes the specimens of Laurel (Laurelia sempervirens) and Poplar (Populus nigra) and are of light tones, with yellow, greenish, light brown tints and pale shine.

Ojo que también tenemos la opción de retiro en tienda si vives en Santiago y quieres ahorrarte el despacho.
