The central valley of Chile is one of the most varied areas in terms of artisanal manifestations. Thanks to miscegenation, a culture with its own characteristics was built, a mosaic of elements from the Iberian Peninsula and the native peoples. Agricultural activity has inspired artisans in their different crafts. For example, the pottery production of Talagante is characterized by the creation of popular characters in polychrome ceramics and in basket weaving you can find works in teatine straw, ñocha and even horsehair, a unique technique in the world.
